Collaboration (C2) is a non-profit organization that aims to help people make
well-informed decisions about the effects of interventions in the social, behavioral
and educational arenas. They prepare,
maintain and disseminate systematic reviews of evaluations of interventions as
well as information about trials of interventions. Summaries and electronic brochures
of reviews and reports of trials are available for policy makers, practitioners,
researchers and the public. Nordic
Campbell Center (NC2) works to promote evidence-informed policy and practice
in the field of social work and welfare policy. The center produces and disseminates
systematic reviews in this field and actively takes part in debates and discussions
about how to improve quality in decision-making in social and welfare policy and
practice. The Scottish Executive Effective Interventions Unit has produced a series of Evaluation Guides for Drug Action Teams in Scotland RE-AIM is a US website that presents a systematic evaluation framework for researchers, practitioners, and policy decision makers seeking to evaluate health promotion interventions aimimg for behaviour change. for planning and evaluating community learning Social Research Methodology - this is part of a huge website on social research methodology, this site has a useful search engine that navigates the information very quickly and provides a very comprehensive list of resources and information on evaluation. Benefits from being UK based. Bill Trochim's Centre for Social Research Methods - This site is very helpful and well worth a visit, although some of the resources are not freely available over the web. Electronic roadmap for evaluation - Another US site that presents an interesting format, although again very orientated to program evaluation and particularly in the USD context. The examples of evaluations are interesting. The Community Toolbox - this is a site aimed at voluntary and community organisations in the US and is mainly programme evaluation. Ericae.net is a clearinghouse for information on assessment, evaluation and research in the education sector run by the University of Maryland.
