Person Specification 1. At least five years experience in one or more of the following fields:
2. A current working knowledge of the main Learning and Skills public sector organisations/ departments in England, including the LSC, DIUS, DCSF, QIA and QCA; 3. A working knowledge of the priority issues and policy developments in the Learning and Skills field; 4. A working knowledge of wider public policy, structures for decision making and funding mechanisms; 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 6. Good organisational skills including proven project management ability; 7. The ability to manage and work in a small team; 8. The ability to work flexibly and on one’s own initiative; and 9. The ability to coach an supervise other team members. Private sector/consultancy experience is highly desirable.
