Whilst working in the field of evaluation as a consultant is in many ways a privilege, it comes with its own flavour of frustrations and stresses. It can feel lonely as a sole evaluator; it is taxing to be plunged into the midst of a hugely contested area and to produce a report which is ‘heard’, it can feel demoralising to have put all your effort into an evaluation which is not taken forward by commissioners… this probably resonates with many. However, how do you deal with these frustrations?
Delighted to welcome highly experienced ‘First Pitchers’ to the WeBiBar, who will start the conversation by sharing their experiences.
The Evaluators’ WeBiBar is held under Chatham House Rules, consequently there is no recording.
