2023 Conference – Student Bursary
We were pleased to be able to offer a one-off student bursary to enable a small number of students to attend our annual conference. The funds for the bursary were kindly gifted to us by the former London & South East Evaluation Network to enable UKES to widen student participation in our activities.
Deadline Passed – No new applications accepted
The bursary covered the cost of a ticket to our annual conference, which is being held on 2nd-4th of October – for further information about the conference visit our 2023 Conference Hub. Each applicant is able to select the ticket type that suits them best.
Successful applicants will be expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs, where required. In the event that a selected student has already purchased their conference ticket, UKES will provide a refund for the relevant ticket and a replacement bursary-ticket.
To Apply for the Student-Bursary
Complete our short application form, following which bursaries will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Eligibility to apply will be determined by the following:
- In cases where we receive multiple applications from one institution, a maximum of one bursary will be awarded per institution
- Variety of regional representation.
Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, based on responses to the following:
- How does your course and/or current position involve evaluative practice/thinking or evaluation in general?
- Why would you like to attend the UKES 2023 Conference?
