The UK Evaluation Society

Prof Murray Saunders Steps Down from UKES Council

Murray is a co-founder and former President of the UK Evaluation Society.  He has contributed so much over the years, and particularly over the past four.  He stepped up to be a director of the Society once again when a past President contracted long Covid. He was a significant organiser and part of the ‘Windows on Evaluation Matters’ Events in both 2020 and 2021, and key to the Round Table series in 2022.

Murray also stepped into the role of Editor of ‘Evaluative Practice’ (and remains at the helm of the journal).  His experience, institutional knowledge, networks and contribution as an academic, have proved time and again, so valuable to the Society and the Council.

We thank Murray for his tremendous contribution to the Society over the years. We are delighted that he will be continuing as Editor of our in-house journal..
